Chalk typography is something that is trending now in big cities in Indonesia especially Jakarta. With the appearance of coffee shops and posh restaurants with their certain concepts, they always have chalkboard to show their "today's special" menu. Some of them do the lettering with a very beautiful style.
So, when the magazine that I work with needs to have an option for cover design, I make something that was much inspired by the chalk typography and also the style of how Esquire do their headlines. And here it is the result:
Though this option was not chosen, but I really satisfied with what I made. It's cool, no? ;)
